C.G. JUNG'S MATTER OF HEART is "a complete and in-depth portrait" of the life and work of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist who developed the idea of collective unconscious and inspired today's widespread fusion between spirituality and psychoanalysis. Later departing from Freudian psychology and creating his own therapeutic ontology, Jung was as much influenced by the Freud's theories as he was by parapsychology and the I Ching. "The irrational fullness of life has taught me never to discard anything," Jung wrote, "even when it goes against all our theories " This newly produced DVD of MATTER OF HEART also brings over 50 minutes of rarely seen video footage of Carl Jung: a 20-minute excerpt from an uncompleted documentary by acclaimed filmmaker Jerome Hill and a 30-minute interview with Jung originally broadcast by BBC in 1959.
